Unique Discount Codes

You can now setup discount codes to generate any number of unique codes for one-time use, instead of a generic code used by anyone.

Quick Guide

When creating a discount code there is a new Format input that lets you toggle between the traditional single code discount and the new unique codes discount.

Everything else about configuring the discount remains the same, except instead of having a limit on uses you now generate unique codes to distribute as you see fit.

At the bottom of the discount page you will see three tabs; Available, Granted, and Used.

Available codes are those that have not been used yet but also, importantly, you’ve not distributed or otherwise handed out yet (which we call Granted).

You can generate more unique codes by clicking the + icon in the tab. You will be prompted to enter how many more codes you wish to create.

You can mark a code has being granted by clicking the blue grant button next to a code. Here you can specify an existing badge holder to help validate the code use in the store, or another method which you specify yourself. You don’t need to grant codes but this helps make sure you don’t accidentally hand out the same code twice.

When a code is granted it will appear under the Granted tab and can be revoked at any time. Unique discount codes are used like any other during the checkout process by an attendee.
