Badge Rename Controls

You now have greater control of attendees renaming their own badges, including optional approval processes, as well as full tracking of all changes.

Quick Guide

In the Attendees section there is a new Renames screen that details any changes to badges made by both attendees and administrators. It will show you the status of a change, highlight what the changes were, and allow you to take any necessary actions.

When reviewing a badge rename you can see any reason provided by the attendee for a change and provide feedback if you decide to reject it. You can also amend a rename further when accepting it or even rollback an already completed rename after the fact.

Under Attendees > Settings there is a set of new options around renaming. You can dictate whether renaming is allowed at all, whether there is an approval process to confirm changes, as well as limiting changes by date and number.

Attendees will have a new Rename action available to them which allows them to submit a rename request within the rules set up by the convention.

If a convention requires approval for renames then the attendee will receive a notification with the decision once it has been made.
