The layout for the event management screen has been overhauled with improved oversight of the event state, clearer form validation, and re-written setting descriptions.
Quick Guide
We are slowly rolling out a new layout concept for information heavy admin screens, such as events or attendees. Stores have already seen it with their new Member screen, and now the Event screen has been updated.

Instead of tabs squeezed in horizontally, the Event screen now has a side menu that lets you switch between content. The new overview screen gives you the full breakdown of an event’s state, while the participant management and setup forms are via the other menu items.
Across the top of the screen is the header with summary details (status, reference, host, etc) and an Actions button. Clicking this will reveal one or more actions available for this event.

The forms for managing an event have been re-organized by purpose, with new labels and descriptions in many places as to be clearer in what they’re asking of you.
