New Sales & Refund Management

A new UI for viewing and managing sales that gives more clarity on transactions and greater control on refunds.

The sales screen now breaks down the exact make-up of a transaction including platform fees, refunds, and discounts. For all sales made going forward, individual items within a sale will now also breakdown their own individual fees and discounts to assist with refunding. Historic sales will not have the fee breakdown for individual items.

There are also new transaction and e-mail tabs that give the history of the sale including when refunds were made and what e-mails were sent to attendees. You can also view and re-send e-mails.

Refunds

The refund screen has been completely overhauled to give you greater choice on how you want to refund an attendee. You can let the system automatically calculate a refund with platform fees removed, a percentage, or a fixed amount. You can also now refund multiple items at once instead of individually.

Finally, there is a new Credit option when refunding to give an attendee virtual currency that they can only spend at the convention store instead of refunding to their card. To see this option you must enable Convention Credit under Registration > Settings. When an attendee goes to checkout they will be able to choose between paying by card or their credit balance, or a mix of both if the available credit doesn’t cover the entire value.
